This is a Clarifilter fridge filter, which is designed to be used with any fridge with a water dispenser or ice maker, and uses 1/4” push fit connections. Whilst it may not be a manufacturer’s original product, this item has been made to the highest possible standard and is specifically designed to fit nearly all fridges using this filter type. 

Integrating a heavy duty sintered carbon block, this filter is a necessary component for your fridge water dispenser. It will effectively remove contamination and content such as chlorine, rust, turbidity, organic matter and more. We can guarantee that this item is fully food safe and is made from non-harmful materials.

Like most fridge filters, it is strongly recommended that you replace this filter every 6 months. This is to stop the filter getting clogged up and becoming ineffective.

Installation:

Note: Cartridge is supplied with quick-fit push-in connecters and is designed to be installed on the 1/4" diameter cold water supply line to the refrigerator/icemaker

• Turn off the cold water supply.
• Remove the tubing from the ends of the old filter. Note: Take precautions as water will drain from the filter and pipes.
• Discard the old water filter.
• Align the new water filter with the water flow direction.
• Insert tube into the end of the filter that the flow arrow points until the tube stop.
• After inserting tube, put together the clip strongly.
• Repeat on the other end of the filter.
• Turn on the water supply.
• Use the fridge dispenser to ensure that any air pockets are removed.
• Check for any leaks.

When to change a filter: The filter cartridge should be replaced when the replacement indicator light turns red, or every 6 months, or if you notice a decrease in the flow of water from the dispenser.

Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system. The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by the water filter device are not necessarily to be found in your water.

It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacturer's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised. Failure to do so may void warranty.

Important: Install on cold water line only.
